Working with the Latest Robotics Technology ( coming in 2019)

Robokids is excited to announce that in 2019 we will be offering coding programs using ROBOTC. These programs will be available to students who have experience with the EV3 mindstorms robots, and for children in year5 and above. ROBOTC is the premiere robotics programming language for educational robotics and competitions. ROBOTC is a C-Based Programming Language with an Easy-to-Use Development Environment.

“ROBOTC is a powerful C-based programming language with a Windows environment for writing and debugging programs, and the only programming language at this level that offers a comprehensive, real-time debugger. ROBOTC is a cross-platform solution that allows students to learn the type of c-based programming used in advanced education and professional applications.”

Keep an eye out for our updates on when these exciting new programs will be available!

Benefits of incursions in schools – Harvard Graduate School of Education researcher Dr Ben Mardell sees the importance in experts coming into schools for both teachers & students. When teachers have the opportunity to observe their children learn, the teacher “gains a clearer understanding of the learner which translates to more impactful teaching”.
